Небачена сила. Виставка в Українському домі в Києві

The opening was timed to coincide with the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Crimean Tatar Genocide, the 80th anniversary of the deportation, and the exhibition extends beyond Crimea and covers all temporarily occupied territories.

Exhibition was attended by representatives of the Swiss Embassy in Ukraine, the British, Austrian, Canadian, and German embassies, representatives of USAID and the Partnership for a Strong Ukraine Foundation, Human Rights Watch, CIVIC, the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue, and the National Democratic Institute (NDI), PEN Ukraine Regional Meeting (Spain, Georgia, Israel, France representatives), Polish, Czech and British journalists.

At the exhibition opening, artist Alevtina Kakhidze conducted a performance-game called “Constructing Political Truth,” which involved answering a political question from different perspectives: tourist, mediator, fighter, and gardener. This performance is part of Kakhidze’s ongoing artistic practice that critically examines socio-political changes in Ukraine.

During the exhibition opening, several artists presented their works: Serhiy Zakharov, Diana Berg, Maria Kulikovska, Yulia Po, Alevtina Kakhidze.
